Amanda Bridger

Amanda is a board-certified speech-language pathologist who has 17 years of experience. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University in 2006 and a Master of Science in Speech Pathology from Old Dominion University in 2008.

Amanda is licensed to practice in Virginia through the Department of Health Professions and is a member of both the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Speech-Language Hearing Association of Virginia (SHAV). She has extensive experience working in the pediatric outpatient setting as she worked for the Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters for 15 years.

Amanda specializes in the assessment and treatment of dyslexia and reading disorders using an Orton-Gillingham approach. Being an avid reader herself, Amanda has a passion for providing literacy intervention so that children may also be able to enjoy the “adventures of a good book.” Additional specialty assessment and treatment areas include feeding/swallowing disorders, cleft lip/palate, Velopharyngeal Insufficiency (VPI), articulation, and language delays. She considers play as the basis for learning for young children and wants therapy to be an enjoyable experience for her patients.
Amanda resides in Yorktown with her husband, Ben, and Mini-Bernedoodle, Bodie. Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She lives for long summer days at the beach or warm days poolside with a good book.

Morgan Bradford

Morgan is a Board-Certified, Speech-Language Pathologist, who has 13 years of experience in the field. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, in 2010. In 2012, she completed a Master of Arts in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia.
Morgan is licensed to practice in Virginia through the Department of Health Professions, a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) as well as the Speech-Language-Hearing Association of Virginia (SHAV). She has worked with the pediatric population in two Hampton Roads public school systems, as well as Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in their pediatric outpatient setting. Her assessment and treatment areas of interest include: Speech Sound Disorders, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, Early Intervention and Language Disorders. She enjoys collaborating with a child’s entire care team to provide continuity of care across all disciplines, including loved ones. Morgan resides in Newport News with her husband, Franklin, and “fur son” Mochi, a mini dachshund. She enjoys all things fall, planning events for family and friends as well as staying connected to her local community through involvement with various service organizations.
